Meet the Chairman

I am very proud of what we are building at Mitsubishi Power Systems Europe, Ltd (MPSE). We are still a young company but our reputation for world-class technology and outstanding service means we are growing strongly. From just a handful of people when we launched in London in late 2007, we are now a genuinely international business.

Europe and Middle East. Our success rests on our ability to meet all our customers’ power generation needs and our determination to help build a low carbon world. We offer a comprehensive one-stop service, supplying, maintaining and, in some cases, operating our advanced technology, which includes steam, gas and wind turbines, boilers, gas and diesel engines, denox equipment and the latest CCGT plants. We are committed to developing and promoting sustainable energy.

MPSE itself may be a relatively new venture but our parent company, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, has a remarkable track record of finding sustainable solutions to energy challenges including our current cutting edge work on carbon capture. We have long been global leaders in wind power. When first based in Europe twenty years ago, my task was to supply one hundred and three MHI turbines to the mid-Wales wind farm developed by the company P & L, still one of the Europe’s biggest on-shore wind farms.

Now with the offshore wind and other sustainable power sectors really taking off, I am thrilled to be back in Europe – and proud that MPSE is using its expertise and experience to help drive this vital energy revolution. This is another way that we are demonstrating how seriously we take our responsibilities to our customers, our staff, our partners, the communities in which we operate and the environment. I hope this website will help show how MPSE can help you. But please do not hesitate to contact me or my colleagues for further information.

Mr Akio Fukui Chairman of Mitsubishi Power Systems Europe, Ltd.
