Offshore Wind

MPSE is at the forefront of the development of MHI's offshore specific 5-7 MW wind turbine.

The new machine, which benefits from MHI's expertise in ship building, marine structures and power generation, will offer high-quality design and market-leading reliability to reduce the cost of offshore wind energy.

Following outline agreement with the UK Government in February 2010 to work together on wind turbine R&D, MPSE intends to open a new facility in the UK and partner with British engineering firms to develop these next generation wind turbines.

MPSE is excited to be investing in the UK and helping to bring significant future economic benefits to the UK.
