Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS)

MHI is a leader in the development and use of industrial carbon capture technology. Our proprietary amine-based solvent, for example, offers improved efficiency and reduced capital costs through low energy and steam consumptions.

In addition to ‘post combustion’ technology, we are also pioneers in ‘pre combustion’ carbon capture and storage technology which we can offer  with our in-house IGCC power plant technology.

MPSE along with our parent company MHI, continues to be involved in a range of technology development projects in Japan, Great Britain, Australia, Sweden, Germany and the United States.
